  There was lots of dust on the windows, footboards and headboards. There werew visible spider nets on the windows and tons flies everywhere. On the food we just made, on baby bottles, on the dishes. The barbeque was VERY old and dirty and the cooking net was rusty with holes.

  Don't read what people complain about on here. This is was my family's first time here and one of the best vacations we have taken. Right on the water with a clean private beach. The owners were very helpful and even offered to drop our trailer into position. Prices are very reasonable. Washrooms are extremely clean including the shower.

  Terrible campground. They jam everyone into a tiny spot. Never going to this campground again. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

  We rented the cottage on the labour day weekend. The owner did not tell me that the cottage doesn't have an ac or central heating and their website doesn't say that either. For me, it's a deal breaker. I have 2 small children (newborn and toddler) and it was FREEZING during the night. She gave us some old heaters. First of all it's not safe to sleep with an antique heater on all night (fire hazard) and second of all those heaters make it BOILING hot as they dont have a thermostat.

  The place is Perfect. There is everyrhing you need for a perfect vacation. We stayed in a motel room with 3 kids and we loved it very much. I cant rate it 5 star because, even though we loved it, everything is very old. The place needs a complete makeover.

  My family and I went to Point of Mara Resort for the first time this past weekend and loved it!! The grounds were immaculate and the washrooms were the nicest I have ever been in. We will definitely be back very soon! Thanks Christine and Doug for a fabulous stay!

  It was the worst cottage i have ever been to in my entire life. Avoid especially if you have small children.
